Short description : Guests can cool off in the roof-top swimming pool during the summer as well as relax in one of the three bars, including the rooftop bar. Ikaros, the main hotel restaurant, specialises in Greek cuisine, and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The second restaurant, Virtus, is set on the roof and opens in the evenings, serving chargrilled fresh fish and meat accompanied by live piano music. The hotel has a private car park with space for 120 cars, and a large conference centre.
Hotel Information : The Stanley Hotel is located 700 meters from the city center of Athens, and 1,5 Km from the Constitution Square, a forty five minutes drive from the Airport and the nearest sandy shore.
The hotel was built in 1966, and renovated its rooms and restaurant in 1998, and its Piano restaurant, reception and lounges and conference space recently.

Food & Beverages : It has one main restaurant of 535 square meters (4800 square feet) overlooking the also renovated Karaiskaki square with the unique monument of the deceased Aviators. The restaurant serves buffet American breakfast and tableside served lunch and dinner, with recipes mainly form the Greek cuisine.
The second restaurant is called VIRTUS, lies on the rooftop and is a beautiful contemporary piano restaurant. It's operating "a la carte" with a rich card of local delicacies, and char-grilled fresh meats and fish.
Dinners are accompanied by a carefully chosen wine card, live piano music and singing and of course the magnificent view on the whole city of Athens including the Acropolis and the Lycabetus hill.
Room Information : All rooms have twin beds some have queen or king size beds.
Region Information : Stanley is located outside the traffic restriction ring of Athens, with a very easy access to both National Roads (to Patras or Salonica). Transportation from and to Stanley has dramatically improved with the opening of the subway station the entrance of which, is right at the hotel's sidewalk. The hotel operates a privately owned indoor parking lot with a capacity of 120 cars.
