Short description : Set in a renovated 19th century house, the Alma Porto Hostel is centrally located in Porto. The fully-renovated home maintains its classic Porto style, while featuring a gardened terrace, free WiFi and a buffet breakfast each morning.
The comfortable and bright rooms of the hostel all feature free WiFi, private lockers, linen and access to shared bathroom facilities.
Each morning, a breakfast buffet is served in the hostel’s bright dining room. Guests of the Alma Porto can prepare their meals in the fully-equipped kitchen which includes all the necessary appliances. Outdoor barbecue facilities are also available as well as a snack bar, for lighter meals. Local restaurants are available within 300 metres, serving the region’s typical Francesinha dish.
The hostel includes a communal lounge with sofas, a piano and a flat-screen TV. A bar is also available, where refreshing drinks and cocktails are served. These can be enjoyed in the sunny terrace, which overlooks the green garden.
The central Aliados is a 6-minute drive and features many bars, shops and local cafés. 10-minute drive from the iconic D. Luís I Bridge which connects to neighbouring Vila Nova de Gaia and its Port Wine Cellars. The historical Ribeira area is also a 10-minute drive and has a lively nighttime atmosphere. Galerias Paris, Porto’s main nightlife hotspot overlooks the Clérigos Tower and is a 9-minute drive away.
It is a 17-minute drive from the Porto International Airport. The Campo 24 de Agosto Metro Station is a 6-minute walk and connects to most of the Porto region.
