Short description : The Grand Elysee Hamburg is located in the heart of the city, close to the lake Binnenalster, the Dammtor intercity railway station and the exhibition grounds.
The unique, lively hotel boulevard with its daily live music, shops, art gallery, AVIS car rental counter and concierge service, is guaranteed to make your stay a real experience. The hotel offers exclusively non-smoking guest rooms. On arrival, you will find a bottle of mineral water and a plate of fresh apples in your room.
Our newly constructed wellness area "Elyseum Wellness & Spa" is 1,000 m² in size and features a range of facilities including a swimming pool. Use of this area is included in the room rate.
+++ Please note that our "Elyseum Wellness & Spa" will be closed due to renovation work during the period 16th- 23rd July 2007. Following this period, only limited facilities in the wellness area will be available until 19th August 2007. +++
Hotel Information : Our new "Elyseum Wellness & Spa" area is 1,000 m² in size and features pool, whirlpool, a sauna village with a steam bath, experience showers, solarium, a light-flooded relaxation room, a sun terrace, a gym, a wellness bar and a wide range of cosmetic and body treatments.
Our conference facilities and mirrored hall provide the perfect settings for your event. Whether you are hosting a private party, meeting, congress or social function, we will plan and carry out your event with professionalism.
Room Information : We offer our guests a high level of comfort and excellent service. Our guest rooms are luxurious and feature wide beds with newly designed mattresses. Bathrooms are fitted with marble and feature a bidet.
Food & Beverages : The centrepiece of the hotel is its lively boulevard, where we serve international gourmet cuisine.

Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.
Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs EUR 6.00 per hour .
Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is not included and cost EUR 20.00 per person.

Travel Information : Arriving by public transport:
- From the main railway station, take the S-Bahn (city rail) line S21 towards Elbgaustraße. Travel for one station and get out at Dammtor
- From Dammtor station (through which ICE/IC intercity services operate) you can reach us on foot in 3 minutes
Arriving by car:
Coming from Lübeck /Berlin:
- Take the A24 motorway to its end, exiting at "Hamburg Horn" and "Zentrum"
- Continue along Sievekingsallee and Bürgerweide
- At the first set of traffic lights turn right into Wallstraße
- After crossing the Kennedybrücke bridge, turn right after the Shell petrol station to enter Rothenbaumchaussee
Coming from Hanover/Bremen (A1/A7)
- Take the motorway to its end and change to the B75 in the direction of the city centre ("Zentrum")
- Continue along Heidenkampsweg, go past the Berliner Tor underground station, and turn left into Wallstraße
- Continue as far as the lake Außenalster, and then continue as above
Coming from Flensburg/Kiel:
- After the junction "Hamburg Nordwest", take the exit "Stellingen"
- Continue along Kieler Straße (B4) towards the city centre ("Zentrum")
- At the next junction, turn left into Fruchtallee
- Continue straight ahead and go past the Dammtor railway station
- At the Shell petrol station, move to the middle lane
- After approx. 100 metres turn left into Tesdorpfstraße/Moorweidenstraße
Coming from Bremen/Hanover (A1)
- After the Elbe tunnel, take exit "Bahrenfeld"
- Continue towards the city centre ("Zentrum")
- At the next junction (Neue Flora/Phantom der Oper) turn left into Alsenstraße
- Continue until you reach Fruchtallee, and then continue as above
Region Information : The hotel's central location enables quick access to the airport (9 km), the ICE railway station (0.3 km), the exhibition/trade fair grounds (1.5 km) and the city centre.
