Short description : The Hotel Rey Don Jaime I is located in the city’s historic center, very close to Plaza Sant Jaume, where the City Hall and the Palau de la Generalitat (local government’s seat) are located. The hotel is also very close to the cathedral and the so-called Gothic Quarter (Barrio Gótico). It offers fast and easy access to Plaza Catalunya, considered to be the city center.

The Superior rooms are located in the opposite building (sharing the front desk with Hotel Rey Don Jaime I). Modern decoration, parquet floors and design bathrooms. Some rooms have TV.

From the hotel you can easily visit the old part of the city, the Gothic Quarter (Barrio Gótico), with Santa Maria del Mar, Plaza Sant Jaime or Calle Santa Anna. Travel Information : From the airport: take the C-32B, exit 2B C-31 (Barcelona, Gran Via, Ciutat Vella). Follow direction Barcelona / Gran Vía. Once in Gran Vía go straight till Via Laietana. Once you have passed the Cathedral, you will find us on your right hand side (Calle Sant Jaume 11).
