Food & Beverages : The hotel houses its own restaurant and bar "Gerzonis", where you can enjoy Italian cuisine in a Mediterranean atmosphere. Opening Hours: 11:00 to 22:00.
Across the street from the NH City Centre lies the world famous restaurant "d'Vijff Vlieghen" ("The Five Flies"), first opened in 1939 and now owned by the NH hotel chain. The restaurant is made up of nine charming, interconnected dining rooms, in five authentic 17th century houses. D'Vijf Vlieghen offers the best in New Dutch Cuisine, Holland's culinary traditions blended with today's tastes. The restaurant also offers a range of over 150 traditional gins and liqueurs. Travel Information : By car from the A10:
From exit S-110, 'Centrum',
-After the Utrecht Bridge. Turn right (at the traffic lights). Now you are on Amsteldijk. After 2 km you reach a T-crossing. Here you turn left.
-After 1 km you will see the Heinekenbrewery on your left-hand side. Turn right and go straight on at the roundabout.
-Now you are in the Vijzelstraat. Follow the street until the Herengracht, (this is the third canal) and there you turn left and carry on until the Gasthuismolensteeg, where you turn right.
-Cross the Singel canal and turn right into the Spuistraat. The NH City Centre is located at the end of this street on your right-hand side.
From exit S-105, 'Geuzenveld',
-After the exit turn right into the Jan van Galenstraat and carry straight on to the centre.
-Turn right at the T-crossing (Nassaukade), then left at the first traffic lights (Rozengracht) until you come to the Royal Palace.
-Turn right into the Spuistraat. The NH City Centre is located at the end of this street on your right-hand side.
From Amsterdam Centraal train station:
Trams 1, 2 and 5 stop in front of the hotel (Spui stop).
From Schiphol Airport:
- By train: Leave from the airport to the city centre every 10-15 minutes. Journey time: 15 - 20 minutes. Price: single: EUR 3.60, return: EUR 6.20.
- By Connexxion Bus: Leaves for the hotel every 30 minutes from outside the arrivals hall between 06:00 and 21:00. Journey time: around 45 minutes. Tickets from: Connexxion desk on Schipol Plaza. Price: single: EUR 12 per person, return: EUR 19 per person. Contact hotel reception to book return journey.
- By taxi: Journey time: Around 20 minutes. Price: EUR 25 - 30.
