Hotel Information : Welcome to our exclusive Boutique Hotel in the heart of Vienna. Feel right at home and enjoy the spaciousness of the rooms and their amenities. Exclusive design is combined with contemporary Viennese art to create a charming blend of traditional and modern elements.
Our hotel lays in an excellent central location, on the longest shopping street in all of Vienna, the Mariahilfer Strasse.
The most beautiful sights and attractions are all within short distances and are convenient to reach by foot, including; the museums quarter with the Leopold Museum, MUMOK, Secession, the museum of Fine Arts and National History, the Hofburg Imperial Palace, the Opera House, Ringstrasse, Burgring and the famous Burgtheater, Kärntner Strasse, Graben and Kohlmarkt, Naschmarkt and Spittelberg.
Important Information:
From 23rd May until 31st August 2007 there will be construction work on the attic floor of our hotel building. None of these construction works will impact our usual operation because the construction area is not part of the Hotel Tyrol. A crane and scaffoldings will slightly impact the hotel rooms view. There should be no dust or noise disturbances. Thank you for your understanding.
You can also use steambath and sauna free of charge.
Travel Information : By car from the A1, A2 and A23 motorways:
- Head towards the Gürtel (beltway) towards the Westbahnhof (railway station).
- Make your way down Mariahilfer Strasse towards the centre of the city. Just prior to the Getreidemarkt, turn right onto Königsklostergasse.
From the A4 and A22 motorways:
- Head towards the city centre as far as Museumsstrasse / Getreidemarkt.
- Turn onto Mariahilfer Strasse and take the first street on your left (the Königsklostergasse).
By public transport:
From the U2 underground line: alight at MuseumsQuartier / Mariahilfer Strasse. Take the Mariahilfer Strasse exit. You are 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
From the U3 underground line: alight at Neubaugasse. Take the Stiftgasse exit. You are 7 minutes walk from the hotel.
Bus 2 A stops at Mariahilferstrasse, a 1 minute walk from the hotel.
From the airport (VIE):
By taxi: Cost: approximately EUR 35. Tip: negotiate a fixed fare with your driver.
By CAT (City Airport Train): Cost: EUR 9. Runs every 30 minutes during the day.
By bus: Cost: EUR 6. Runs every 20 minutes during the day.
By S-Bahn: Cost: Line number: 7. EUR 3. Runs every 20 minutes during the day.

Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.
