Hotel Information : The York by Swiss-Belhotel is located in the heart of Sydney, close to the Opera House, The Rocks, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, transport, major department stores, business houses, theatres and restaurants.

Room Information : The York by Swiss~Belhotel comprises of 28 storeys, with 110 Apartments ranging from Studio, One and Two Bedroom. All Suites offer a full size kitchen, lounge and dining room, 1 or 2 bathrooms, laundry and balcony. All Suites are fully furnished, air-conditioned and serviced daily.
Region Information : If it’s business that takes you to Sydney, there’s no more strategic location than The York. A short stroll will find you in the heart of the CBD, with the nerve centres of Australia’s biggest city all around you… business, banking, the law, retailers… they are all here!
The York is just as centrally located for pleasure as it is for business. Many of Sydney’s most famous attractions are well within strolling distance… the Opera House, the N.S.W. Art Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art, The Rocks, Darling Harbour, theatres and galleries galore.
Travel Information : We recommend one of the following methods of transport to reach us from the Airport:
* Shuttle Bus ~ Located outside the Airport Terminal and costing around AUD 14.00 per person one way. It can, however, be time consuming, as the Shuttle Bus also stops at other Hotels in the city area, depending upon the number of Guests travelling.
* Taxi ~ Located in the Taxi rank outside the Airport Terminal. Although we are only 14km from the Airport, the cost varies depending upon the time of day, ranging between AUD 40.00 and 60.00. Peak hour traffic occurs between 7am~9.30am and again 4.30pm~7pm, which delays entry in and out of the city centre.
* Train ~ Located at the end of the Airport, trains run every 10~15 minutes into the City. It is best to board a train that stops at Wynyard Station, which is located only a 3 minute walk from the Hotel. The cost is around AUD 14.00 per Adult one way.
* Private Hire ~ A Limousine or Private Mini Bus can be arranged with prior notice but will be more expensive. A sedan style limousine will cost approximately AUD 85.00 one way and flight details are required to make the booking.

Comprised of 110 Suites ranging from Studio, One & Two Bedrooms, all are air-conditioned, with fully equipped kitchens, laundry and balcony. The York offers a heated outdoor pool, spa, sauna and gym.
Important Information : If cancelled up to 14days prior to the arrival date during New Year's Eve, 01 night accommodation will be charge.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged AUD 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.
Internet: Internet via modem is available in the entire hotel and costs AUD 25.00 per 24 hours.
Meal Plan: Continental breakfast is not included and costs AUD 16.50 per person.
Parking: Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs AUD 25.00 per day.
Pets: Pets are not allowed.
