In addition to walking, there are other ways to discover the old town, from the traditional "Fiaker" (horse-drawn carriages) to boat trips on the Salzach River. Salzburg is surrounded by green areas, including several mountains. On the Kapuzinerberg close to the hotel you might even see chamois.

Travel Information : By train:
The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the main train station. Alternatively, take the no. 2 bus in the direction of Obergnigl and get off at the "Vogelweiderstraße" stop. Walk toward the mountain (Kapuzinerberg) and turn into the first road on the right - this is Rupertgasse.
From the airport:
Take the no. 2 bus in the direction of Obergnigl and follow the instructions above. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi ride takes about 15 minutes.
