Hotel Information : Albatros Spa & Resort Hotel is an environmentally friendly hotel. Every year, it welcomes a great number of returning guests, in particular couples and families with children.
Short description : Albatros Hotel is situated only 25 kilometres from Heraklion International Airport in the town of Hersonissos, a place that attracts thousands of visitors every summer.
This family owned and run resort hotel offers high quality standards in combination with traditional Cretan hospitality and a friendly atmosphere.
Conveniently located in the centre of the island of Crete, the hotel provides easy access to the most important sights of the island, including the Minoan palaces of Knossos and Festos, the plateau of Lassithi and the picturesque towns of Agios Nikolaos and Elounda.
Room Information : All standard rooms offer the facilities listed in "room descriptions" as well as a fully furnished balcony or terrace, Wi-Fi internet access and a LCD TV with satellite channels.
Superior rooms offer the above, are more spacious, airy and have large balconies with sea or pool views. They also offer bath and beach towels (with a deposit), cable internet access and safety deposit boxes suitable for laptops.
Food & Beverages : At the main restaurant, Mediterraneo, your meals are formulated in buffet style breakfast and dinner, inspired by the flavours of the Mediterranean and international cuisine, assuring high quality taste and great variety. Local products and pure Cretan olive oil are used for the preparation of all meals. There is show cooking on the restaurant terrace which overlooks the pools.
Daphne à la carte gourmet restaurant opens daily for lunch or dinner, offering you the chance to discover the secrets of the world famous authentic Cretan cuisine or sample flavours from around the Mediterranean. Private dining is also possible.
The main lobby and bar, Veranda, opens from 16:00 to 00:00 and serves a wide variety of refreshments, drinks and cocktails. The seaside cafe pool bar serves fresh fruit juices, refreshments, cocktails and light snacks all day from 10:30 to 00:00.
There is 24-hour room service available in the resort.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, 75 percent of all nights will be charged.
If modified later, the first two nights will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
One child under 12 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.
One further child under 12 years is charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed.
All older children or adults are charged 70 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs EUR 3.00 per hour.
