The very exclusive resort of Illetas is part of the municipal district of Calvia on the south west coast of Majorca. At a little over 10km, or 6 miles to the west of the capital Palma, the transfer into the resort from the Son Sant Joan International airport is possibly one of the shortest on the island, and should usually take no more than 15 - 20 minutes from the time you leave the airport grounds.
Illetas (Ses Illetes) is situated on the south coast of Mallorca, approximately 20 kilometres to the west of Palma and the island's international airport. Transfer time to the resort is about 20 minutes by car. Ses Illetes is off the main road, picturesque and very green with landscaped and terraced gardens. There is a small sandy beach beneath low cliffs and, in addition, several tiny coves, often used exclusively by the hotels.
Ses Illetas is a resort of smart hotels and expensive cars and is popular with professional couples and families looking for the cultural aspects of nearby Palma and its facilities, including golf courses, as opposed to the clubs and bars of Magaluf. It also attracts business and convention bookings, especially in the low season.
Evening entertainment tends to be sophisticated and most hotels operate their own restaurants, often of an excellent quality.
